Bill Baroni is a former New Jersey State Senator and former Deputy Executive Director of the Port Authority. His conviction was overturned unanimously by the U.S. Supreme Court in Kelly v. United States (2020).
He moderated the 2024 "Out of Isolation" panel at the inaugural conference.

Bill Baroni moderated the opening panel on isolation, built around the moment a case changes someone's life. He shared the advice a priest and psychologist gave him days after his own case began: to ask whether things are a little better today than yesterday, not when they will be over.
