A lifelong Minnesotan, Gregg Johnson spent more than 20 years in senior finance and operations roles, including CFO and COO positions in manufacturing and petroleum, before becoming a FocalPoint business coach who helps owners and executives sharpen strategy, profitability, and team performance.
He hosts the BizTalk Weekly podcast, serves on the conference steering committee, and moderated the 2026 panel on pardons, clemency, and what the process asks of the people who go through it.
At the White Collar Conference
Gregg Johnson moderated the panel on trauma and the pardon process, introducing Osler and Alex N. and asking how clemency works today, what applying is like and what applicants should do. He compared a long-shot grant to a lottery ticket with a 5 percent chance of winning and pointed to the applicant's own story as the ticket.
